Dr. Vargas Musick has a Doctorate in Clinical Laboratory Science and 20 years of experience in research and clinical laboratories. Her expertise in immunology and microbiology research, along with her experience in medical laboratories, enables her to tailor test menus and reports to individual patient populations and physicians’ offices, leveraging laboratory medicine, public health, and infectious disease expertise. Dr. Vargas Musick practices laboratory stewardship, ensuring you always receive a patient-tailored answer. We will never ask a provider to order more tests that will give minimal diagnostic information.
When you call our phone number, you will be connected to our laboratory team, not an answering service. If you need a patient consult or have a complicated case, you will be directed to Dr. Vargas Musick. Along with expertise from a DCLS, you will also have access to Life Well Pharmacy’s Pharmacists for patient-centered treatment decisions.

Our Commitment
Life Well Cadence Laboratory owners Dr. Jenelle Vargas Musick and Dr. Philip Blake Musick opened Life Well Pharmacy in 2020 with the goal of providing patient-tailored customer service. During the height of the pandemic, Life Well Pharmacy recognized a need for fast and reliable laboratory testing in the pharmacy setting. Dr. Vargas Musick created a Point-of-Care Laboratory inside Life Well Pharmacy’s flagship location to reduce the time it takes to diagnose and treat patients.
Five years later, Dr. Vargas Musick’s dreams of having a full reference laboratory came to fruition. Life Well Pharmacy is excited to present Life Well Cadence Laboratories.
